StartApp is the award-winning mobile advertising platform that is embedded in 150,000 apps, including 50 percent of the worlds top-grossing apps.

With more than 350 million monthly active users, StartApp allows app developers to earn revenue every time their app is downloaded and in turn, offers advertisers over 6 billion monthly ad impressions across a variety of ad units.

StartApp was developed by Gil Dudkiewicz and Ran Avidan, back in 2010, offering a new business model for app developers to generate real revenue from their apps.

In late 2012, StartApp approached Cutler PR to help them grow their user base and propel them to new heights globally. Cutler PR leads StartApp’s PR efforts in the U.S. and China. Between 2011 and 2015, revenue exponentially grew by over 22,000 percent.

StartApp had difficulty differentiating their product in a crowded adtech marketplace, as well as raising awareness within its target demographic of users.

APPROACH

Cutler PR worked closely with StartApp’s CMO and CEO to target advertisers, developers and other relevant audiences. Cutler developed messaging and raised the company’s credibility and visibility through media relations, thought leadership and speaking/award nomination services.
